There is no better place to celebrate all things spooky than Salem! Tour the Salem Witch Museum where we will examine one of the most emotional events in American History, the Salem Witch Trials. Experience the events of 1692 and the drama of that dark time though thirteen life-size stage sets with figures, lighting, and narration to bring to life the web of lies and intrigue of the Salem witch-hunt. In the exhibit "Witches: Evolving Perceptions", explore the meaning behind the word witch and evolution of the image of a witch over time. Learn about the European witch trials and the background leading to the Salem witch trials.

Enjoy a 90-minute walking tour of Salem (about 1 mile of walking) with our local guide. See the historical sites & burial grounds where many of the tragic events of witch hysteria took place while learning about the people, places, and time of the Salem Witch Trials.

Enjoy two hours free in downtown Salem for lunch on your own, people watch (MANY people will be in costume!), and to browse the shops. Or visit one of the many psychics, palm readers, or tarot readers to reveal your future! Halloween costumes & dress are encouraged (but note the town of Salem does not allow fake weapons and you will want to wear comfortable walking shoes)!
