After lunch, we’ll walk into their intimate theatre for the comedy show "The 39 Steps".

 

This parody of Hitchcock's hit film takes the thriller to new heights of theatricality and humor. Part Hitchcock masterpiece, part juicy spy novel, with more than a dash of Monty Python humor all add up to The 39 Steps. A fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! In The 39 Steps, a man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she’s a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon, a mysterious organization is hot on the man’s trail in a cross-country manhunt that climaxes in a death-defying finale!

 

Afterwards, enjoy an entertaining cabaret show by the Newport Playhouse players! Two fun-filled shows and a delicious lobsterfest lunch make for the perfect day out!
