Enjoy the unspoiled beauty and entertainment that the Ozarks are known for on this getaway that is sure to get you into the holiday spirit!

 

DAY 1: We will fly into Little Rock, AR and travel to the entertainment center of the Ozarks, Branson, MO for 5 nights at the Thousand Hills Resort Hotel. D

 

DAY 2: We will start our day with the 90-minute fun-filled Redneck Comedy Bus Tour of Branson, listening to local stories, legends and comical "redneck wisdom." Then, enjoy a 2-hour cruise on beautiful Table Rock Lake aboard the Silver Dollar City Showboat (former Branson Belle), complete with a delicious multi-course lunch and Christmas Show. Enjoy time for dinner at Branson Landings' scenic boardwalk along Taneycomo Lake with shops, restaurants, and an hourly fountain display with 120-foot water jets, fire, and lights, all choreographed to music. Then, five talented brothers will treat you to a production filled with a variety of music from pop, rock, and country to Broadway, gospel, and hip hop at the Hughes Brothers Music Show. B,L

 

DAY 3: Explore the Top of the Rock Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail in a 2.5-mile golf cart tour. We'll take 4-person golf carts and follow a trail created to highlight rock formations, waterfalls, and lake views. The winding trail will take you through a cave and a scenic overlook where you can step out onto the skybridge for a breathtaking view of the Ozarks. Then, take the shuttle to the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum to see prehistoric creatures, the American West and civil war galleries, and Native American artifacts and artwork. Enjoy the panoramic views from the Top of the Rock and lunch at Danna's BBQ. Then, enjoy one of the most in-demand live shows in the country, The Haygood's Show. Their Christmas Extravaganza, a family tradition in Branson since 1993! After an included dinner, we'll return to the same theatre for Clay Coopers Country Music Express for a combination of country music and Christmas favorites. B,L,D

 

DAY 4: Get in the holiday spirit at a Branson favorite, The Christmas Wonderland Show. No yuletide trip to Branson would be complete without seeing this show, Branson's largest and most loved holiday show. Then, enjoy lunch & shopping at the Pickin' Porch at the Branson Craft Mall, which is filled with Ozarks-made gifts before we head to Silver Dollar City, which will be fully decorated and lit up for the holiday season. The four-story-tall Christmas tree will be decorated with over 30,000 lights, Thousands of lights will decorate the shops and trees, a Christmas Light Parade illuminated by 100,000 LED multicolored lights. You'll have time to enjoy one or two of their free shows, including the award-winning musical production of "A Dickens' Christmas Carol," browse the shops, enjoy their included Holiday Prime Rib Buffet Dinner, and take a ride on the Sing Along Christmas Steam Train. DAY 5: We will take a student-led tour of the College of the Ozarks, best known for giving its students the opportunity to receive a tuition-free education and debt-free graduation. We'll visit their Ralph Foster Museum, which is dedicated to the history of the Ozarks region. Their new exhibit "Celebrate America's Stories," weaves together American history and College of the Ozarks history. Before leaving the campus, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at the colleges' Keeter Center. Then, we'll experience "The Miracle of Christmas" as it comes to life onstage with massive sets and live animals in a cherished holiday production from Sight & Sound Theatres. B,L

 

DAY 6: Before departing Branson, we'll experience nature in the Ozarks at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, an outdoor paradise featuring 10,000 acres of natural beauty and rugged scenery. We'll take a two-hour narrated open-air tram tour of the park and pass by bluffs, waterfalls and other scenic views. Then, we'll cross the Arkansas border and enter the Bison-Elk Country pasture, encountering the largest residents at Dogwood Canyon. Enjoy some free time to visit the Conservation Center, climb into the Treehouse built by the Treehouse Masters, and see the working grist mill. Before departing, we'll enjoy a Smokehouse BBQ in the pavilion. We will travel to Little Rock, Arkansas and overnight at the Marriott Courtyard Downtown. Enjoy the afternoon & evening at leisure to stroll the Arkansas Riverfront Park, sculpture garden, and Riverfront Marketplace restaurants and shops. B,L

 

DAY 7: After a full breakfast, we'll depart for the Little Rock Airport for our flight back to Logan. Flights and bus transfers from Logan Airport & Cape Cod will be arranged by Funtastic Getaways. Flight times and pricing have not yet been finalized, please call for information.
